"graves" between trade and honoring the dead

Man lives under these circumstances in which the country is going through a state of austerity and scarcity, and it seems that many are accustomed to this circumstance, and we are powerless, but if you do not live a life that is at least "hidden", it is logical that you "die" after a long life. Velvet "dead.

Today in Damascus, the price of a "super deluxe" grave with new, unused soil has reached 150 million liras, of course on the bone, without marble, pits, lawns, basil, etc. There are also "brokers" of graves with graves at a lower price of up to 100 million liras, and they are floors, of course here the direction of the grave and the covering differ Imagine that the situation reaches "mockery" of death graves, which are supposed to be the last safe homes for those we love and leave.

The idea is that if the price of the grave that reached this number had been given to the deceased’s family, friends, or anyone who would pay for it, he would have lived a better and more dignified life.

As for the countryside and suburbs far from Damascus, the price of the grave, like real estate, becomes cheaper, but here the difference is more than 35 times, according to the Syrian newspaper "Al-Watan", as the price of the grave in those areas ranges between 4 and 10 million liras only, and the reason for this is "traffickers." Graves".

On the other hand, economic expert Dr. Muhammad Koussa explained to Al-Watan newspaper that the spread of this trade is the result of financial temptation and lack of supply, as he put it, in exchange for high demand in light of the limited spaces allocated for burial and the inability to expand to secure new graves.

Koussa pointed out that as a result of the economic conditions and the low living conditions and income, some people resorted to selling their graves and considering them one of the economic resources to compensate for certain resources in light of the low living conditions and high prices, ignoring the social and religious aspect and moving towards burying their dead in cemeteries on the outskirts of Damascus because they are cheaper in price, in order to exploit the demand Great in an effort to achieve large financial profits.
