While America supplies the Kyiv regime with all the military, logistical and financial support it needs against the Russian special military operation, all its aid is going to waste as the Pentagon announces the disappearance of weapons provided to the Kyiv regime worth over a billion dollars.
At this time, Kyiv is demanding more aid to support its defense against the Russian forces, amid the disappearance of more than a billion dollars out of a total of $1.69 billion in assistance sent by Washington to the Zelensky regime.
In addition, 39,139 highly dangerous weapons, including Javelins and Stingers and night vision devices, are among the missing items.
While the fate of these weapons is unknown, that announcement reminds us of the corruption problem plaguing the Ukrainian security apparatus which has long alarmed allies.
In this regard, a secret US strategic document last October noted that officials in President Joe Biden's administration are much more concerned about corruption in Ukraine than they publicly admit, according to the Politico website.
Corruption could push Western allies to abandon Ukraine in its war with Russia, and Kyiv cannot afford to delay anti-violation efforts, warning that high-level corruption can undermine the confidence of the Ukrainian people and foreign leaders in the Kyiv government during the Russian special military operation.
