After the "International Court of Justice" had been absent from the Zionists' crimes for several past decades, and repeatedly refused to criminalize the Israeli entity and put an end to its aggression and violations. It has acquiesced to African demands to prosecute it and investigate its actions.

The International Court of Justice in "The Hague" is holding its first session today, Thursday, to consider South Africa's request to prosecute "Israel" on charges of committing genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, Israel is preparing for the first time to appear before the court, strongly rejecting the allegations and describing them as "ridiculous and lacking any basis," amid Israeli security institutions’ fears of any ruling that may be issued against "Israel."

The court will discuss the temporary suspension of Israeli military operations in Gaza while it considers the details of the case, a process that could take years. For its part, South Africa accused Israel in its legal appeal of failing to provide food, water, medicine, fuel and shelters. It also bombed thousands of homes forcing 1.9 million Palestinians to be displaced and resulting in the death of more than 23 thousand people.

A committee of 17 judges is scheduled to consider the case. For his part, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa confirmed that his country stands on the right side of history by opposing the Gaza massacre. The Israeli government spokesperson accused South Africa of providing political and legal cover to the Palestinian resistance. At the same time, the Arab League, Libya and Tunisia announced their support for the legal step taken by South Africa. Meanwhile, dozens of Palestinians in Ramallah took to the streets in marches to thank it for this step.
