Has the United States failed against Yemen?

Has the United States failed against Yemen? As part of its support for the continuation of the crimes of the Israeli entity in Gaza, the United States launched a long-term, wide-ranging military operation, according to its description, under the name "Poseidon's Archer."

The first wave of strikes, which targeted nearly 30 sites across Yemen, was the beginning of the operation, in an attempt to disrupt Ansar Allah's ability to attack Israeli ships in international shipping lanes.

Yemeni military sources explained that all the raids that targeted the country hit sites that have been targeted dozens of times and are not important sites, there are no weapons, equipment or forces there. So is this operation just about saving America's face?

But the most important question remains, has Operation Guardians of Prosperity failed to stop the ongoing targeting of the Ansar Allah movement in the Red Sea, Arabian Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait, or is Washington seeking to open a third front and drag the region into a regional war, which is logical if we compare it to the facts.

Washington is always trying to play the role of the actor and not the one being acted upon, which is what the Ansar Allah movement did recently, as it was the one taking the initiative, and America is fully aware of the current situation in the region, and fully aware that it is not able to engage in a long war, rather the situation remains as it is in southern Lebanon, in the form of tactical skirmishes that do not rise to the level of conventional war.

Assuming the axis of resistance opted for the war option, which is unlikely, how many fronts would open against American bases in the region, and on how many fronts would the United States have to distribute its forces to repel the strikes, especially since the US economy is suffering and completely depleted?

Operation "Poseidon's Archer" is separate from Operation "Guardians of Prosperity," in which the two countries cooperated alongside 20 other countries in an attempt to undermine security in the Red Sea. The symbolic name refers to one of the symbols in ancient Greek mythology.
