Martyrs of Truth and Their Victims: The Erosion of International Press Laws in the Face of Israeli A

International journalistic norms and laws have fallen before an international community that is reluctant to restrain the Israeli entity, incapable of surpassing feeble condemnations. In such a climate, journalists become targets, their voices silenced, and the deliberate elimination of those who document violations becomes an accepted practice.

In this context, the enemy shows no shame for its actions; on the contrary, it openly declares and admits to them as if they were commendable deeds deserving respect. The Israeli entity acknowledged targeting the vehicle of journalists Hamza Alduhduh and Mustafa Thraya in Gaza last Sunday as they were performing their duties for a newspaper in Rafah, southern Gaza.

The oppressive entity claimed that the journalists were "terrorist elements" operating drones in a manner that posed a threat to Israeli forces. The Al Jazeera media network condemned the assassination of the journalists and the severe injury of journalist Hazem Ragab in an Israeli airstrike north of Rafah in southern Gaza. Al Jazeera stressed the necessity of taking immediate and necessary legal measures against the occupation forces to ensure that they do not escape accountability.
