American actress Emma Stone won the Best Actress in a Leading Role award at the Golden Globes for her role in "Poor Things" directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, in which she portrayed the character of Bella Baxter.
Stone has been nominated 8 times for the award in the categories of Best Actress in a Leading Role and Best Supporting Actress, and won the award for Best Actress in a Drama for the movie "La La Land" in 2017.
Hollywood stars celebrated during the Golden Globes awards ceremony, and the list of winners included some new names such as Ke Huy Quan, Steven Yeun and Ally Ng, alongside Jeremy Allen White who won the award twice this year and last year for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.
