A sad incident occurred in a Turkish region, where an 8-year-old girl who was participating in a "hamburger" eating contest held at a school in the city of Duzce, lost her life.

The enthusiasm of the contestants and their joy in the taste of the food turned to grief and bitterness within the Isik Elementary School in the Çay district of Duzce, with the announcement of their classmate's death.

The participants in the "hamburger" eating contest were shocked by the death of their classmate, Evtilia Kaymak, due to the food entering her airway. Despite the medical teams being called to the scene quickly, the medical team failed to save the little girl.

Experts emphasized that more precautions should be taken in activities attended by children, and that activities organized in schools should be planned with greater care.
