A rare letter written by Princess Diana to a military tailor who designed clothes for her two sons: Prince William and Harry, when they were young, was sold at auction for 1,900 pounds sterling. The historic letter was written on April 25, 1988, in which Diana praised the tailor’s efforts in designing clothes that made her children feel happy and excited. The letter talks about how William and Harry enjoyed the clothes made by the tailor; How they expressed their desire to keep it even while sleeping so that they would feel comfortable like soldiers. She said in the letter: “And thank you very much for making the trousers and jackets for William and Harry.” She continued: “It was very kind of you to take so much trouble. Sincere thanks from all three of us and sincerely, Diana.”
