Imagine a world where artistry is not limited to humans alone. After escaping the slaughterhouse, one pig found his passion for painting and went on to sell his artworks for millions of dollars.
The pig, named "Pigcasso," spent his life after being rescued from the slaughterhouse creating over 100 artistic masterpieces that were sold for more than a million dollars, according to animal rights activist Joanne Lefson from South Africa.
Lefson bought Pigcasso from the slaughterhouse and placed him on her farm, where she discovered his talent by chance when she attempted to paint something using forgotten paintbrushes.
This activist changed Pigcasso's fate from being a mere animal destined for slaughter to an artist who passionately used his mouth to showcase his talent. Since then, Pigcasso has painted over 100 artworks and earned more than a million dollars through his creations.
Sadly, according to his owner's social media post on Wednesday, March 6th, Pigcasso suffered from arthritis and passed away at the age of 8.
His true success came with a massive painting titled "Wild and Free," designed by Lefson, which was sold at an auction for the equivalent of 2 million Russian rubles.
