To obtain a good result, the mice were humanized, which means that they were designed to express the protein found in humans, with the aim of evaluating how the virus interacts in humans, as the laboratory announced the death of all rodents infected with the disease within eight days, which the researchers described as Surprisingly fast.

The team was also surprised to find high levels of viral load in the brains and eyes of the mice, which indicates that the virus, despite its association with Covid, reproduces and spreads through the body in a unique way, and in a scientific paper that has not yet been published, they warned that the result confirms the risk of spreading “GX.” -P2V” to humans.
